Front Disc and Pad Replacement

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Once the vehicle is lifted on a hydraulic lift, remove the front wheel; then proceed to remove the retaining pins of the brake caliper and detach it from the bracket without disconnecting the brake line; extract the old pads and remove the brake caliper bracket. At this point, you can remove the brake disc: clean the disc mounting surface of oxidation using a wire brush and apply grease to prevent new rust formation. Then proceed in reverse (the video shows the installation of the same components, but the procedure is the same even if installing new ones), fitting the disc, caliper bracket, pads, and the caliper itself (retract the piston).
