Replacing Front Brake Pads

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp90 - Years 2005-2011

Lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheels, unscrew the caliper mounting bolts, and remove the caliper from its seat to extract the old pads; clean the bracket and apply grease to the sliding plates, the caliper piston, and the sides of the new pads before inserting them into the bracket; retract the caliper piston using a C-clamp or a mole grip and secure it to the bracket by tightening the mounting bolts. Pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance and be cautious during the first braking.
