To replace the battery in a Toyota C-HR remote, move the tab located at the bottom of the remote to extract the key from its housing. By levering here, you can open the remote and extract the tray containing the battery from inside. The battery can then be removed from the tray and a new one inserted. After inserting the battery, place the tray back inside the remote and close it, ensuring the key is also inserted.
