Replacing the cabin air filter in a Toyota 4Runner is a very simple task. Let's see how to proceed in this tutorial. The filter is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, but you don't need to disassemble anything. By opening the compartment, you can notice a rectangular door at the bottom. Open it by unlocking the upper clips, and you will have access to the filter door itself. Once this is also opened, extract the old filter and insert the replacement, making sure to place it in the correct direction. Finally, reposition both doors.
