Replacing Cabin Air Filter on Toyota 4Runner [USA]

Identify the type of cabin air filter suitable for the vehicle (see owner's manual). Open the passenger side door, sit in the passenger seat, and open the glove compartment. Remove the black cover at the bottom of the compartment by prying it off the release clips, take off the cover, and press the levers on both sides of the box containing the filter to open it. At this point, access the filter and remove it, then install the new filter, ensuring the arrow printed on the side of the filter is pointing up. Reattach the box cover and reposition the black cover, then close the glove compartment.
