To replace the rear light bulb on a Toyota 4Runner, open the trunk door to detach the cover from the side of the trunk. Once this is removed, you can pull out the bulb and disconnect it from the connector. After removing the old bulb, connect the new one to the connector and insert it into its housing. After the replacement, close the bulb housing with the panel and lower the rear trunk door.
