How to Activate the Cruise Control on a Toyota Camry

The Cruise Control system allows you to travel at a certain cruising speed automatically without pressing the accelerator pedal. To activate this special function of the car, press the "On/Off" button located at the end of the right lever on the steering wheel. At this point, accelerate or decelerate to reach the desired speed and then press down on the right lever to set it. To increase the speed while Cruise Control is activated, push the lever up, and to decrease it, push the lever down. To deactivate the Cruise Control, simply pull the lever towards you and press the brake pedal.
