Here’s how to program a new key for your Toyota 4Runner. Enter the cabin, ensuring all doors are closed except for the driver’s door. Insert and remove the key, then activate and deactivate the central locking five times using the keypad on the driver’s door. Now close and reopen the door, then activate and deactivate the central locking five more times as before. Insert the key again, turn on the ignition, turn it off immediately, and remove the key. Right after, press the unlock and lock buttons on the key simultaneously, release them after 1 second, and then hold down the lock button for two seconds. You’re done!
