How to Open the Boot of a Toyota Aygo?

To open the boot of a Toyota Aygo, it is not enough to press the button or pull the lever located at the bottom of the tailgate: you must also insert the corresponding key into the lock located on the tailgate. By inserting the key and turning it counterclockwise, you can unlock the tailgate lock and fully lift it. Once the boot is open, you can close it simply by lowering the tailgate: this way, the lock actuator will engage, preventing the boot from opening.
