Let’s briefly go over the steps necessary to remove and replace the engine air filter on a Toyota Yaris with a VVT-i engine. First, open the bonnet and start unfastening the two metal clips found on the side of the air filter box; then remove the cartridge inside, giving the filter box a clean from any residual dirt, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new air filter of the correct type, inserting it in the correct orientation; then secure the two metal clips!
