The first step is to open the hood and locate the battery at the top of the engine compartment. Then, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the nuts securing the battery support bracket. At this point, you can remove the battery from its housing and place the new one. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally tighten the nuts for the upper support bracket.
