In order to replace the timing belt on the Toyota Land Cruiser, the engine must be completely extracted from its housing compartment: the bolts that secure the engine block to its supports must be loosened, disconnecting any connectors and pipes. Now, it will be possible to identify the belt in the front part of the engine: by loosening the nuts that fix the pulleys and the one that fixes the belt tensioner, it will be possible to reduce the tension, completely removing the belt from its seat. In this way it will be possible to insert the new one, mounting all the previously removed components.
