This guide shows how to dismantle the rear door trim panel on a Toyota RAV4 Mk5. The first step is to remove the cover in the recess of the lock handle using a trim removal tool. Remove the electric window control by inserting the trim removal tool at the back of the switch.

Take off the finishing trim of the armrest and door handle. Remove the three fixing screws for the panel, one in the handle recess and two under the armrest.

Pry the lower edges of the panel to release the fixing clips and remove the lock control lever.
