How to Install Parking Sensors on a Toyota Yaris

To install the kit of 4 parking sensors on any vehicle, start by removing the bumper. Be careful with the parts that are clipped in, especially on the sides near the wings. On the back of the bumper, you will find marked positions for the parking sensors. Use a plastic hole cutter for a more precise hole. Before using the tool, practice on a piece of plastic to avoid making a mess. Now prepare the sensors you have painted. Position the sensors on the adhesive plate that will be attached to the bumper; each sensor has its side, and the surface must be cleaned thoroughly before attaching it. Identify a hole for all the wires to pass through, and then refit the bumper. Connect the cables according to the instructions to the control unit. Connect the red wire to the positive reverse light and the black wire to the chassis ground under a body screw.
