Replacing the Remote Battery on a Toyota Rav 4

This guide shows you how to replace the battery in the remote control of a third-generation Toyota Rav 4. First, extract the physical emergency key by pressing the release button located on the side of the remote. Next, insert the physical key into the designated slot in the key housing and turn it to split the remote in two. Once done, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one as shown in the video. Finally, reassemble the remote by following the reverse procedure. The required battery is a CR1632 3V.
