How to Adjust the Tailgate Height on the Toyota Rav4

In this article, you will learn how to adjust the opening height of the boot on the Toyota Rav4. The procedure is simple and takes little time to complete. There are two methods to perform this procedure. The first method is through the onboard computer; after starting the instrument panel, use the appropriate buttons to navigate to the settings menu. Once located, navigate to the vehicle settings option and select it. Then select the PBD option, adjustment/opening regulation, and you will be able to adjust the height, choosing from 1 to 5. The second method is via the button located on the tailgate. Open the tailgate, wait for it to fully open, press the button and wait for the beep. Now manually adjust the tailgate to the desired height, then press the button for 2 seconds until a beep sounds four times, indicating that the position has been registered.
