Rear Shock Absorber Replacement

Replacing the rear shock absorbers is straightforward since the spring and damper are not co-axial. Once you have lifted the vehicle, remove the rear wheel and place a support jack under the suspension before removing the lower mounting bolt of the shock absorber. Lower the vehicle to access the boot area, remove the cap on the shock absorber dome, and undo the nut securing the upper mount. Then, work in reverse by first securing the top of the rod, then lift the suspension and secure the bottom.
