Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment. To replace it, open the glove compartment and press the sides to retract the stops, allowing it to fully swing down. Then, complete the disassembly by unscrewing the screws from the lower hinges. You can now access the air duct housing the cabin air filter. Remove the cover, extract the old filter, clean any dirt residue, and insert the new one, ensuring it is oriented according to the airflow direction indicated by the arrows.
