Changing the engine oil and its filter is a maintenance task that can easily be done yourself, provided you dispose of the used oil and filter properly; position the car on suitable ramps to facilitate access to the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug located on the side to drain the used oil; the filter is located in front of the sump and can be unscrewed with a socket or strap wrench; then screw the plug back into the sump and install the new filter, lubricating the gasket with a bit of clean oil; finally, fill the engine with 3.7 litres of new oil.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.
