How to change the oil and oil filter on a Toyota Yaris?

To change the engine oil on a Toyota Yaris, you need to access the underside of the car: here you will find the oil drain plug. Open it with a spanner and place a container underneath to collect the used oil until it has completely drained. Once finished, close the drain plug again. The oil filter is also located at the bottom of the car, near the engine compartment. It should be removed from its housing by simply unscrewing it. At this point, you can replace it by installing a new filter.
