To improve the audio system performance of the Toyota Corolla Verso, replace the standard radio with a higher performance unit. Start by using a plastic lever to remove the two side panels housing the air vents; unscrew the two side screws and detach the climate control panel.

Using a 10 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the four screws at the base of the radio, then partially pull it out and disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna cable before fully removing it.
