There are two types of oil filters: the cartridge filter and the immersion filter. In today's video, we will see how to replace the immersion oil filter by yourself.

After draining the oil sump, you will need to remove the oil filter housing with a spanner, extract the worn filter, and insert the new filter. Then, refit the housing into its place and proceed to top up the oil in the reservoir next to the filter.

This operation follows the same steps on many vehicles, including Hyundai, Citroen, Volkswagen models, and so on.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
