In this video we will show you how to replace your car battery without losing the settings of the onboard computer and radio. When we replace the car battery, we completely disconnect the battery, causing the computer to lose all its settings. There are two simple ways to prevent this from happening and save the car's memory: the first method is to connect the OBD2 memory saver to the power socket, connecting a 12-volt battery to one end. Then we can open the front hood and disconnect the negative and positive terminals to remove the battery and replace it with a new one. The second method is to connect a 12-volt power supply to the battery terminals so that it continues to be powered before removing the battery. We should disconnect the negative terminal and mount it on the auxiliary battery, same with the positive terminal, before removing the battery.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
