How to diagnose and repair tire pressure by yourself

In this video, we see how to diagnose and repair tire leaks on our own. The tire pressure warning light comes on: we use a TPMS sensor reader (such as Autel) to scan each wheel, approaching it to the wheel and pressing the button: the tool shows pressure and sensor status. If one of the sensors does not respond, it means it is faulty. Common causes can be a broken valve, as shown in the video; a sensor removed previously and replaced with a standard valve, or simply the sensor battery is drained. We remove the wheel and inspect it internally; we replace the sensor with a compatible one (checking the frequency which can be 315 MHz or 433 MHz), then we program the new sensor with the tool, connecting it to the car's OBD port, we access the "program sensor" menu or similar, we manually enter the ID; we approach the tool to the new sensor to program it and then mount it on the wheel. After the replacement, we drive the car at over 50 km/h for 10-15 minutes to have the new sensor recognized by the ECU: the warning light will turn off automatically.
