Installation of a shark fin antenna

In this video, we will see how to install a shark fin antenna on a car that had a regular antenna with a mast. Let's start by unscrewing the mast: we clean the roof around the old antenna, which we will not remove, prepare the double-sided tape, sticking it onto the new antenna, then connect the connector from the new antenna to the old one, in order to create an electrical bridge between the two reception modules. At this point, we take measurements to position the shark fin on the bodywork, making a few small marks to perfectly position the component. We remove the protective covering of the double-sided tape and press gently but firmly on the roof of the car. That's it.
