Let’s see how to use a multimeter, always following this order; select the measurement type (voltage/current/resistance); the type (AC or DC) and then the range (the maximum value we can measure). To measure AC, use the household socket at 230 V with a recommended range of 500 Volts; avoid using the 200 Volts setting, as it may get damaged. For the car battery in DC, a range of 20 Volts is advisable. Do not use the 200V range, as it will give an inaccurate reading. If you want to measure the resistance of a wire, select Ohms (200 for continuity) and avoid measuring a live circuit. To measure the current of a device, start with the highest range, then go lower, and avoid measuring it in parallel like voltage.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
