How to Repair a Brake Hydraulic Piston

Brakes are an essential element for the safety of your vehicle. Therefore, their operation and that of every part must always be monitored. The pistons, thanks to the pressure of the oil, push or retract the brake pads, either stopping or allowing the wheel to turn. Sometimes their movement can be obstructed to the point of feeling slightly stuck. So, don't worry; clean the affected area to resolve the issue, especially when the pads rub against the disc even when not braking, or if the thickness of the pads differs from that of the disc, or even due to annual wear. Remove the caliper. Engage the brake and clean the edge of the piston with brake cleaner. Replace the rubber seal. Now, lubricate with silicone spray. Refit the pistons and reassemble everything.
