Replacing a Car Alternator

In this video, you will see how to replace the alternator on a generic car. In fact, on most cars, the disassembly procedure is quite similar: essentially, you will loosen the two mounting bolts of the alternator and the tension bolt of the belt; in other cases, you will need to loosen the tensioner, remove the belt, and unscrew the alternator bolts. From underneath, pull the tensioner to relieve the tension: then remove the belt and unscrew the alternator bolts to extract it! To reassemble, insert the alternator and tension the tensioner to refit the belt.
