How to Replace the Alternator on Any Car

This video shows you how to replace the alternator on any car. First, ensure you disconnect the negative battery terminal. On a transverse engine, the alternator is located as indicated in the video. Start removing the various parts as shown in the video. The goal is to clear the access area to the alternator. Once done, remove the bolts from the right front wheel and lift the car with a jack. Support the car on axle stands. Now proceed to remove the wheel arch liner and the cover protecting the timing apparatus. Loosen the belt and remove it from the pulleys. From this point on, carefully follow the instructions shown in the video to replace the alternator.
