How to Remove and Replace (or Repair) Your Car's Speedometer

This video tutorial will teach you how to remove and replace (or repair) the instrument cluster, specifically the speedometer of your car. First, unscrew the 4 Allen screws that secure the dial: use a 3 mm Allen key and perhaps a magnet to assist with removal. Next, you can easily pull out the dial and disconnect the connector. At this point, remove the cover by simply lifting the tabs and pulling it out. Now, extract the indicator, the dial, and the hex screws that secure the instrument cluster. Once everything is disassembled, carry out your repairs and/or replacements and reassemble everything by reversing the procedure.
