Removing Valeo Alternator from Car

To remove a Valeo alternator, follow this procedure: first, remove the rear plastic cover by unscrewing the nuts at the back. Take out the voltage regulator and check the wear of the brushes: if they are worn, it is advisable to replace them. Remove the diode bridge by disconnecting each copper wire (you will need to solder them back when reassembling). Remove the plastic covers related to the copper wires. To open the alternator, unscrew the surrounding screws and separate the front from the rear section. Check the wear of the bearings and proceed with reassembly.
