Removing the Diesel Pump

Is the diesel pump giving you trouble? Let's see how to remove it from inside the car's fuel tank. The diesel pump is located under the rear seat or under the panel in the boot. Use a socket wrench to undo the screws securing the metal cap, then remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper, then, using a chisel, undo the large securing pin. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation pipes. Extract the floating fuel pump. Replace the damaged pump with a new one of the same type.
