How to remove the fuel pump from your car? Let's see how to replace the fuel pump. The diesel pump is located in the fuel tank of the car. Remove the rear seats or the cover in the boot. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Unscrew the fastening screws of the metal cap with a socket spanner, and remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal plate with absorbent paper, then use a chisel to unscrew the large fastening nut. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the circulation hoses. Replace the fuel pump after removal.
