How to Engage and Disengage the Block Shaft Anti-Theft Device

The Block Shaft device is a mechanical anti-theft system permanently installed on the steering column: it is essentially an additional steering lock made of steel, operated by a non-duplicable security key. To engage the anti-theft device, push the key upwards to raise the lock, then turn it clockwise (to the left) to arm the system and remove the key, which will only come out when the device is engaged. To disengage the anti-theft device, insert the key and turn it anti-clockwise (to the right) while a safety spring will push the lock down.
