Want to remove the brake disc on your car? Here’s how to do it. Lift your car to a comfortable height for working. Unscrew the bolts with a socket spanner or air drill and remove the wheel. Next, start unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to remove the brake pads. Unscrew all the securing screws that hold the disc to the hub, then remove the entire piece for replacement. Fit the new disc onto the hub, then install the new brake pads with all the associated bolts, secure the caliper bracket to the disc, and then mount the brake caliper.
