How to Change the Battery on a Kymco 125 Scooter

In this tutorial video, you will see how to replace the battery on a Kymco 125 scooter: the first step is to purchase a new battery with the same amperage. Next, lift the seat of the scooter and unscrew the two screws, then lower the tab to remove the cover that protects the battery. Once the battery cover is removed, disconnect the battery cables without allowing them to touch each other. Unscrew the screws that hold the battery in place; disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Once both terminals are disconnected, you can remove the battery from its location and replace it with a new one. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
