How to Adjust Your Car's Headlights?

The procedure for adjusting your car's headlights must be carried out with the vehicle parked on a level surface. You will need a headlight alignment tool and a screwdriver suitable for the type of screw used to adjust the headlights. These screws vary from model to model but are generally located at the back of the headlight. Measure the height from the ground to the centre of the dipped beam bulb and locate the screws that adjust the horizontal or vertical angle of the beam. Rotate them clockwise or anti-clockwise until the beam is centred.
