How to Connect a Secondary Battery to the Scooter When It Won't Start

In this video tutorial, you will see what to do when the scooter's battery is flat and it won't start. A scooter or motorcycle battery can discharge for various reasons (cold weather, wear, etc.). A very useful trick to avoid being stranded is to connect two cables permanently to the battery terminals (full power from 2,600) from three cells; you can also connect a larger battery. To perform this procedure, you need to unscrew the screw located under the scooter's handlebar and remove the cover and the rod that holds it in place. Now unscrew the negative terminal and loosen the positive terminal of the battery. Take the cable that will go to the negative and solder it to the female connector. Now put heat shrink tubing over it. Do the same for the positive, soldering the longer cable that goes to the positive terminal. Now screw the two eyelets, one to the positive terminal and the other to the negative. With this system, if the main battery discharges, you can connect the auxiliary battery and start again without worry.
