To replace the remote key battery, follow these steps: obtain a small screwdriver, leverage the small gap on the short side to detach the rear cover of the remote. Using the same screwdriver, pry along the centre line of the inside of the key to open the two halves, granting access to the battery compartment. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, ensuring the correct orientation (positive terminal facing up). Finally, reassemble the two halves and reattach the rear cover of the remote.
