Replacing the Fuel Filter

Ensure you have a filter key available, which is necessary for this task. Open the bonnet and locate the filter to be replaced. Disconnect the electrical connector from the filter support. Remove the fuel hose. Unscrew the screws from the tank cover. Position a catch tray under the filter, unscrew the sensor, and drain the fuel present in it. Extract the filter from the bracket and empty it completely. Replace the sensor cap. Lubricate the new filter with a drop of diesel, do not use grease. Screw the new filter onto the support using the filter key. Tighten the bracket screws, reconnect the electrical connectors and the fuel hose. Start the engine and keep it running for a few minutes, checking for any fuel leaks.
