How to Remove the Rear Wheel of a Piaggio Ciao

The first step is to remove the left side panel. Use a coin to open the three pins on this side and the three pins on the opposite side by pressing the coin and turning it 90 degrees. For the right side panel, with the pedal down and the fuel tap forward, use the coin to remove the panel. To remove the chain, take off the chain tensioner using a 13mm spanner and insert it behind the tensioner where the nut is. Use pliers to unscrew the rear chain sprocket counterclockwise. Then, using a socket wrench, remove the frame mounting bolts, and on the other side, unscrew the nut holding the pulley. Open the rear brake on the other side and unscrew the two screws holding the hub; this will free the rear wheel.
