If you own a Pontiac G6 (2004-2010) and want to manually reset the oil light that keeps appearing on the instrument cluster, follow these simple steps. First, get into the vehicle and take your seat in the driver's position.

Next, insert the key and turn on the ignition. At this point, press the accelerator pedal firmly three times in quick succession.

Finally, as soon as the light disappears from the cluster, turn off the ignition and the reset procedure is complete. If there are any errors, you can repeat the steps without any problem.
