Be cautious, as depending on the type of car, standard cruise control may be preferable to adaptive cruise control, as it can help avoid sudden braking. Remember that the "eco" mode is usually the best for preventing excessive acceleration.

Always keep an eye on the instrumentation: the car provides useful information, and knowing how to read it means you can continually improve. There are also other modes to consider; for example, the air conditioning recirculation mode helps save energy.

Additionally, hybrid cars typically have tyres with low rolling resistance, and they should always be checked for the correct pressure.
