This video tutorial shows how to replace the starter motor on a Burgman 400 scooter by following some simple steps that will allow you to work independently. First, purchase a new starter motor (original replacement part) from a parts dealer. Next, remove the under-seat cover and the seat piston for better access. Remove the air filter cover, then take out the air filter from its housing. Unscrew the bolts of the bracket and remove the bracket; unscrew the earth bolt, then unscrew the mounting bolts of the starter motor; tap the motor to remove it more easily. Once the starter motor is removed, install the new starter motor by reversing the steps.
