To replace the crankshaft oil seal, first remove the engine block from its housing by loosening the mounting bolts and disconnecting pipes and connectors. At this point, you can remove the nuts securing the flywheel to the crankshaft and access its rear.

Using a tool like a screwdriver, you can pry out the oil seal from its housing and replace it with a new one. After replacement, reassemble the flywheel and refit the engine block in its place.
