The alternator generates a voltage to recharge the battery. We measure the voltage of the battery with the engine off. Using a digital multimeter, we set the dial to direct current 20 Volts, place the red probe on the positive terminal and the black one on the negative terminal, and check the voltage. Now we start the vehicle and check the charging voltage generated by the alternator. We reposition the probes, and now the voltage is much higher. We have verified that the alternator is charging correctly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it.
