(Various brands) Various - Video tutorial
Model: (Various brands) Various
In this video we see that the batteries for vehicles with Start & Stop system can be of two types: EFB or AGM, so let's check which type is installed on our vehicle. An EFB battery can be replaced by another EFB or an AGM, while an AGM can only be replaced by another AGM: in fact, the latter is a battery that has been designed for vehicles that have a higher electrical consumption, and that equip mild or full Hybrid cars. Some German production vehicles have a smart sensor on the battery, so when changing the battery it must be registered with a diagnostic device that allows for adaptation with the alternator. We remind you that the manufacturing date is indicated at the base of the battery, and that the average life of a battery is normally 5 years: after this period it can be depleted at any time.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again! by ScegliAuto More videos
