How to Remove the Oil Filter Without the Special Tool

In this video, see how to remove the oil filter from any vehicle without the special tool, using just two spanners and a length of string. Take one of the spanners and thread the string through the hole to form a loop. Go under the vehicle and place it over the oil filter, pulling it as tight as possible. Once it is snug around the filter, start to twist it around the handle of the spanner, as if you want to cover it. Then take the other spanner and, using the hole that fits onto the prongs of the one holding the filter, turn it forcefully until the filter comes loose.
