How to Replace the Engine Oil Filter?

This effective video tutorial explains how to remove and correctly replace the engine oil filter in your car. After raising the car on a ramp and locating the position of the filter of interest, you will need to unscrew it with a special spanner (known as a strap wrench) and extract it. However, be careful: the new oil filter cannot be fitted using the same type of spanner, as it risks damaging it and causing serious issues to your car (such as significant oil leaks). Therefore, lubricate the seal of your filter with suitable oil and fit it using the appropriate tool or simply by hand.
