Why the Door Open Warning Light Remains On Even When Closed

In this video, see what causes the door open warning on a vehicle when it is properly closed. The most common problem is the door switch; in this vehicle, it is located on this side, but sometimes it can be found on the door itself, so check both, and in newer vehicles, it is integrated into the door latch. In many cases, the issue could be the wiring itself, or the switch may have rusted. Replacing it is very simple; just remove the screw and find the switch underneath: disconnect it by removing the electrical connection, ensuring the wire does not fall into the bodywork (as it would be very difficult to retrieve). The new switch can easily be found on any e-commerce site, depending on your vehicle, and costs just a few pounds. Then, simply reconnect it to the connector and replace the screws.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
