In this video, see what causes the door open warning on a vehicle when it is properly closed. The most common problem is the door switch; in this vehicle, it is located on this side, but sometimes it can be found on the door itself, so check both, and in newer vehicles, it is integrated into the door latch.

In many cases, the issue could be the wiring itself, or the switch may have rusted. Replacing it is very simple; just remove the screw and find the switch underneath: disconnect it by removing the electrical connection, ensuring the wire does not fall into the bodywork (as it would be very difficult to retrieve).

The new switch can easily be found on any e-commerce site, depending on your vehicle, and costs just a few pounds. Then, simply reconnect it to the connector and replace the screws.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
